McBAIN JOINS CONTOUR

When Contour first launched two years ago we were more than just a race team and wanted to worked on ways to distill our knowledge and share more from the trails to help others find new riding spots and encourage more folk into the outdoors and the amazing sport that is mountain bike. Our love for racing is strong and will be an important part of what Contour does while focusing on our vision of inspiring people to connect with nature. 

Our ethos hasn’t changed going into 2023 and while Christo finds himself on a factory ride in 2023 his involvement in Contour remains and our aim of giving back and providing more to the increasing number of riders still exists. 

Our exciting news going into 2023 is the signing of Calum McBain who will be joining the Collective and we can’t wait to give him the much deserved support he needs to rise up the ranks. Having racd downhill for numerous years winning Scottish Downhill Races in Elite, racing World Cups and then transitioning to Enduro he’s shown his world class potential. 

With a focus on Enduro this year mixed in with a few SDA races on his trail bike he’s likely to be at a race near you soon, going ridiculously fast!

His first EDR of the season will be Finale Ligure where he will be joined by Chris who continues to manage and support the team going forward while mixing in some racing at the same time. 

Expect to see more content hit our Youtube channel throughout the year from all those involved in the Contour Collective. Don’t worry though, Christo will still be joining the team with his dulcet tones and occasional smile.
